Clearwater Beach, Florida - Police are reminding skateboarders about the rules of the road to keep themselves and pedestrians safe.

Generally, skateboarding is not allowed on any road, unless crossing the street at a crosswalk, and skateboarders may not interfere with pedestrian or vehicular traffic. Pedestrians have the right of way, and skateboarders are not to grasp any vehicle in motion.

Clearwater, Florida -- Clearwater Police are investigating a suspicious death at the Pier House 60 Marina Hotel.

The hotel is located at 101 Coronado Drive. Clearwater police say 65-year-old John Glorieux was found dead. The cause of his death is still under investigation.

Glorieux's next of kin have been notified.

Clearwater Police are on scene and investigating.

St. Petersburg, Florida -- Saint Petersburg College is the first community college in the state to launch a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). 

On Wednesday, May 8, launched its free online course, Get Ready for College- Math, the first in a series of self-paced courses aimed at helping incoming students prepare for college. 

The goal of this class is to give potential sudents the help they need to improve their skills in math so that they can do well on the placememnt test or boost their confidence about returning to college.
