Construction on Belcher Road

Clearwater, Florida -- Friday through Monday, May 10-13, Belcher Road will be closed from Druid Road to Gulf-to-Bay Blvd.

The reason for the closure is construction of drainage connection for Lakeside at Clearwater. The traffic will impact southbound lanes in the area and people should expect delays and congestion.

Suggested detour sis Keene Road or US Hwy 19 North.

CLEARWATER, Florida -- Panda Lover is a restaurant with mediocre reviews.

"It's okay ... it's not the best Chinese food I've had," said occasional customer Vinny Billotta. But even Billotta said he's shocked to find out what the state uncovered.

Pinellas County, Florida -- At a meeting on Tueaday, May 7, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners named this year’s Emergency Medical Services Professionals of the Year.

The awards are given each year in May in honor of EMS Week, locally commemorating the EMS professionals working for Pinellas County’s emergency medical services system.

Pinellas County, FL - Thirteen Chick-fil-A restaurants in Pinellas County and New Port Richey will hold a fundraiser for Ireland Nugent on May 8, donating a portion of all sales from 5-8 p.m. to the Ireland Nugent Trust.

Clearwater, Florida - Beach restaurants, lodging and special attractions are featured prominently in a new destination magazine published by Visit St Pete/Clearwater.

"Gulf to Bay" is replacing the organization's former Visitors' Guide and is available in print and online.

Suspects sought in sushi restaurant robbery

Oldsmar, Florida-- The getaway driver has been caught, but officials say two robbery suspects remain on the loose after a sushi restaurant robbery Monday night.

According to deputies, the two suspects robbed the Boton Sushi Restaurant around 8 p.m. after they walked in, pointed guns at two employees and demanded cash from the register.

Witnesses said the suspects left in a "gold four-door Taurus", and it wasn't long before Pinellas County deputies located the car off the 1100 block of Lasalle Street in Clearwater.
