Largo, Florida -- A new exhibit has opened up at Heritage Village in recognition of Viva Florida 500.
This will highlight 500 years of historic people, places and events in present-day Florida since the arrival of Juan Ponce de Leon in 1513.
To commemorate the anniversary, Heritage Village features reproduction weapons, nautical items, clothing, camp gear, religious items and other items to tell the story of everyday life during the early exploration and colonization of Florida.
The exhibit is at the Heritage Village at 11909 125th Street North.
