Man charged with molesting teen girl | Crime

Clearwater, Florida -- A Clearwater man faces lewd and lascivious battery charges on a teen girl after she told her sister he touched her in a sexual manner on multiple occasions.

Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives say they began investigating the case against 30-year-old Jeffrey Lacava back in early November after the girl told her sister about the encounters. They say Lacava inappropriately touched the girl on four occasions in October.

Lacava was arrested for lewd and lascivious battery on a minor and unrelated charges of grand theft and possession of a controlled substance.
