Title (Max 100 Charaters)
Clearwater Beach, Florida - The 2011 Super Boat National Championship roars into Clearwater Beach the weekend of Sept. 30.
The three day event, billed as the fasted show on the water, will see boats cranking 6,000 horsepower reaching speeds of 180-miles an hour just off shore from Pier 60.
Spectators can get a close-up look at the boats Friday at the Baystar Race Village at Coachman Park. Downtown will hold a block party on Cleveland Street that night. Admission to both are free, just like the races themselves.
A VIP race experience is available for purchase for an adult admission price of $100 per person and $25 for children 16 and under through the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce. The VIP race experience offers VIP race viewing, parties, and much more.
The Super Boat championship is sponsored by Bright House Networks, the city of Clearwater, The Clearwater Regional and beach chambers of commerce, Frenchy's restaurants, Shephard's Beach Resort and the Palm Pavilion, among others.
