Free FAFSA application assistance starts Feb. 28 | Events

Pinellas County, Florida -- Pinellas County FAFSA Nights offers parents and students assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a critical step to securing financial assistance for college.

Through sponsorship from St. Petersburg College, financial aid experts will be available for one-on-one help with the 2013-14 FAFSA on four different dates at four high school locations from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Dates, locations and suggested documentation to bring:

• Feb. 5 - Boca Ciega High School (map)
• Feb. 19 - Dunedin High School (map)
• Feb. 26 - Lakewood High School (map)
• March 12 - Largo High School (map)

To assist with completing the application, parents and students are encouraged to bring:

• Federal Student Aid PIN (to obtain a PIN, go to: www.pin.ed.gov)
• Email address
• Student’s/Parents’ 2011 W-2 and Federal Income Tax Forms (1040, 1040A or 1040 EZ)
• Student’/Parents’ 2011 untaxed income (social security, disability, workman’s comp, etc.)
• Driver’s license or state photo ID
• Social Security card
• Spouse/Parents’ Social Security numbers and dates of birth
