Clearwater, Florida -- The Clearwater Public Library System will host fun summer programs for all ages and all interests during the summer months. Special programs for the week of June 17 include:
MAIN LIBRARY, 100 N. Osceola Ave.:
Magnificent Mondays: Wonders of Nature: Monday, June 18, 2 to 3 p.m.; A wildlife show that includes raptors and parrots, reptiles, and one of the largest pythons in the world.
Dream Big Read Summer Storytime: Wednesday, June 20, 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. (youth); Fun with books, crafts, songs, and other activities.
Glow Party: Wednesday, June 20, noon (teen). Fun glow-in-the-dark art projects under black light.
Showtime with the Dascaloja Puppeteers: Thursday, June 21, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. (youth)
Clearwater Library's own Teen Puppeteer Troupe performs folktales, modern stories and songs, with puppets or as themselves.
Young Artist's Club: Friday, June 22, 2:30 to 4 p.m. (teen, youth) Drawing or painting - art supplies and space provided. For ages 11 to 17.
EAST LIBRARY, 2251 Drew St.:
Boys Reading Club: Monday, June 18, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. (youth) Elementary and middle school boys are invited to read books, share and discuss ideas.
Doggone Reading Fun: Monday, June 18, 4:30 to 6 p.m. (youth). If your child is a reluctant reader, sign him or her up to read to one of Paws for Friendship's reading dogs who provide a furry, non-judgmental audience to encourage children to read aloud.
Stop Action Movie Production: Tuesday, June 12, 5 p.m. (teen) Spend your summer writing, directing and producing your own animated movie using clay and small toys.
Wacky Wednesdays: Bits & Pieces Puppet Theatre - Robin Hood: (youth) Wednesday, June 20, 2 to 3 p.m.; puppet show followed by crafts. Groups of ten or more must call to register in advance.Book and Origami Club: Thursday, June 21, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. (youth) Weekly series to make paper cranes and read a chapter from the true story, Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. The goal is to make a thousand cranes by summer's end.
NORTH GREENWOOD LIBRARY, 905 N. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.:
Greenwood Kids Imagination Workshop: Monday, June 18, 2 to 3:30 p.m. (youth) Make a puppet or bring your own to put on an impromptu puppet show using our puppet stage. Puppet-building materials provided. Ages 4 and up.
Tremendous Tuesdays: Tony the Balloon Guy: Tuesday, June 19, 2 to 3 p.m. Tony provides thrills with his ability to bend balloons and create cool critters.

The PreSchool Place: You and Me and Music Together with Colleen McGrath: Thursday, June 21, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. (youth) The summer stop for the five and under crowd for stories, music and crafts.
