Man stabbed to death at cookout | News

Clearwater, Florida -- Clearwater Police arrested a man they say stabbed another man to death at a cookout overnight Tuesday.

Police were called to the home in the 200 block of S. Hillcrest Avenue around 12:20 a.m. after a fight broke out at the gathering. When they arrived, they found 25-year-old David Lee Kilen suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

During their investigation, police say they learned a physical altercation broke out between Kilen and Ronald Clifford LeFave. Witnesses told police LeFave went into the house and grabbed a knife and stabbed Kilen.

LeFave, 43, was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
