Victim identified in Clearwater crash | News

Clearwater, Florida -- Police have released the identity of a man killed in a fiery traffic crash Sunday.

Timothy M. Taraldsen, 50, of St. Petersburg died when he lost control of his van at a high rate of speed, struck a fence and power pole and caught fire at Lakeview Road and Shore Avenue.

The medical examiner made positive identification of the body, but police said they were unable to locate any blood line next of kin.
