Marcia Cohen will speak at NOW meeting
Pinellas County, Florida -- The National Organization for Women, Pinellas Chapter, is going to have St. Petersburg attorney and feminist Marcia Cohen at their monthly meeting.
The meeting will this Wednesday, Feb. 27, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and is being held at Girls Inc. of Pinellas. The public is encouraged to attend.
Cohen will speak on "Women's Entitlement to Equal Pay" and discuss the Millennia 2015 project which focuses on global challenges for women in the 21st century.
Cohen spoke on equal pay challenges at a recent UNESCO conference in Brussels and she is a co-facilitator of an international working group called ILAW that concentrates on laws affecting women in various countries of the world. She will attend the UN Conference on Women in New York in March.
Girls Inc of Pinellas is located at 7700 61st Street North in Pinellas Park.
