Pier 60 Playground vote postponed again

Pier 60 Playground vote postponed again

Clearwater, Florida -- The city council Monday postponed a vote on whether to put a $440,000 sand castle-themed playground at Pier 60 Park.

The measure was scheduled to be heard at the council's workshop session, but City Manager Bill Horne said he had not yet been able to meet with members of the Clearwater Beach Association. The association wanted to discuss the project with the city before it came to a vote.
